The Hurt Business broke up far too soon, depending on which fan you ask about it. Booker T is likely of the opinion that the stable split up too early.

Booker T’s Hall Of Fame podcast is an uncensored platform where he conveys views and opinions on wrestling topics. The podcast is typically engaging, educational and quite informative. During the latest episode, Booker gave his thoughts on WWE splitting up MVP and Bobby Lashley, as well as the Hurt Business splitting.

“It’s not for me to like it or not. I thought The Hurt Business did some really good work. With MVP at the helm throughout the pandemic, and definitely put a light on that group”.

“I really believe MVP was the spark behind Bobby Lashley, I really do. I always thought perhaps Bobby needed that frontman to actually do that part of the work for him. Then he go out and be the clean-up man in the middle of that ring.”

Booker T also believes WWE is allowing Bobby Lashley to appropriately flourish. For Lashley to flourish, Booker thinks MVP shouldn’t be his manager.

“It looks to me like they were building Bobby up to be something extraordinary.’ Bobby Lashley right now, of course, he can be looked at as the babyface,” he said.

“We were just talking about who’s going to be the guy to challenge Roman? I don’t know, I’m just saying, if I was a booker, I would perhaps see it that way. For Bobby to be that babyface, MVP can’t be there at the helm. He just can’t be there, he can’t be flanking Bobby if that’s what route we’re.”

Booker T comments are strictly opinion, as with most podcast. Bobby Lashley came a long way since his 2018 return. From meaningless feuds, to a love triangle angle. It’s terrific that Booby Lashley is admired by legends like Booker T. Expect to see Lashley in the main-event picture (champion or not) in the foreseeable future.
