Hook’s In-Ring Debut Plus More Announced For Next Week’s AEW Dynamite

Tonight’s Dynamite featured a stacked lineup. CM Punk wrestled Penta in singles action, the Jurassic Express retained their tag team titles, Marina Shafir made her Dynamite debut, and Samoa Joe won the ROH World Television title from Minoru Suzuki in a hard-hitting contest to cap off tonight’s show.

AEW ran a couple of segments and adverts during Dynamite. The company announced a couple of matches and promos for next week’s edition of Dynamite. It was revealed that Tony Khan will be back with another huge announcement on AEW’s flagship show next Wednesday.

Next week’s Dynamite will also mark the debut of Hook. The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil has been the talk of the town due to his wrestling skills and eerily silent charisma. On a related note, Taz returned to Dynamite and helped Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks win against Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee.

Plus, the Owen Hart Tournament continues as 1/2 of the AEW Tag Team Champion Jungle Boy takes on reDRagon’s Kyle O’Reilly and former Women’s Champion Dr. Britt Baker squares off against Danielle Kamela in the men and women’s qualifiers respectively.
