Roman Reigns has been on a completely different level after returning to WWE television in 2020. After SummerSlam, 2020, Reigns reinvented himself and had a new goal in mind – to dominate WWE. It is safe to say that is exactly what he did.
The Head of the Table’s dominance as the WWE Universal Champion has been well-documented by now. Being a champion for well over 570 days now, his reign is unlikely to end anytime soon.
While speaking to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Paul Heyman was asked if there are any top talent superstars who can feud with Roman Reigns. Heyman claimed there definitely are some talent but did not name them.
“I think there are some people who are really ready to step up and I’m not going to name them as it is up to them to step up. And they’re not going to get the benefit of my endorsement if they don’t know that it’s time for them to step up. There are still some very big-money matches for Roman Reigns. Is this the biggest one (against Brock Lesnar) on the table at the moment? Of course it is.
It is the main event of WrestleMania – the biggest WrestleMania match of all-time. Winner take all, title vs. title, unification matches. Are there other people that are ready to step into the spotlight and give Roman Reigns a fight? Most definitely. Are they destined to make an impact this Sunday? They better, if they want to be next in line to challenge Roman Reigns.”
Roman Reigns will be squaring off against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38, where both of their titles will be on the line in a winner take all affair. It remains to be seen whether he will walk out of WrestleMania as the undisputed champion or not.
