Lita Spoke To Cody Rhodes About Working In AEW Prior To WWE Return

WWE Hall Of Famer Lita has done it all as far as being a female competitor is concerned in the world of professional wrestling. As fans are aware, she is a trailblazer when it comes to the overall development of women’s wrestling. Lita mentioned talking to Cody Rhodes about potentially joining AEW as well.

Lita returned to WWE television earlier this year, much to the delight of fans. She competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble match and also faced off against Becky Lynch at the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, She was unable to beat Lynch and has been absent since then.

While speaking on Chris Van Vliet’s Insight podcast, Lita revealed that Cody Rhodes reached out to her about possibly working in AEW. In the end, Lita decided to go back to WWE.

“Cody had reached out, and I watched the show more from an aspect of possibly being there and seeing how I could fit in besides watchign AEW shows when I can. So yeah, of course I started brainstorming and thinking about possibilities. But then on the flip side when I talked about WWE, I was just like, ‘It’s right there for the taking.’”

Lita also does not rule out making her return to WWE somewhere down the line. We’ll have to see when the WWE Hall Of Famer will return to WWE television as fans would love to see her back,
