Nia Jax was one of the biggest of the WWE women’s division ever since she was called up to the main roster in 2016. Prior to that, she also had decent run on NXT where she competed against top talents such as Asuka. It seems she decided to crack jokes about the latest Oscars scene.
Chris Rock ascended the stage just before the commercial break to present the Academy Award for Best Documentary. The comedian joked about Pinkett Smith before revealing the finalists. Smith laughed off the joke at first, but Pinkett Smith appeared to roll her eyes.
The camera then caught the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” alum slapping Rock onstage, and as he returned to his seat, he shouted to keep his wife’s name out of his jokes. Nia Jax recently referenced the incident in her latest tweet stating that if she smacked Rock, he would be out for like six to eight weeks.
If I slapped Chris Rock, he would be out for 6-8 weeks…just sayin
Nia Jax also stated that she is done with pro wrestling for good after her release, which led to many fans rejoicing as well. Booker T also sympathized with her wanting to retire. We will have to see what is next in store for her. Check out her tweet below.
