Finn Balor vs Damian Priest Still Likely To Happen At WrestleMania 38

Finn Balor is a former 2-time NXT Champion and has competed in numerous top matches since his return to NXT back in 2019. Before that, Balor was working in the main roster for few years, where he was underutilized according to fans. Balor vs Damian Priest is still likely to happen at WrestleMania 38 as well.

Finn Balor was then drafted to Monday Night RAW as part of last year’s WWE Draft. After a brief hiatus, Finn Balor returned and eventually defeated Damian Priest for the WWE United States Championship as well.

Since then, Finn Balor and Damian Priest have been engaged in a feud over the title. Priest even managed to beat Balor in a non-title match on Monday Night RAW. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter,  a United States Championship match between Finn Balor and Damian Priest “was scheduled” for WrestleMania weekend. The match is likely to take place as well.

“In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer wrote that a United States Championship match between Finn Balor and Damian Priest “was scheduled” for WrestleMania weekend. Though nothing has been officially announced by WWE, Meltzer noted that Priest’s victory over Balor on the Mar. 14 episode of Raw (thanks to a distraction from Austin Theory) suggests that the two will square off at WrestleMania.”

We will have to wait and see whether Finn Balor and Damian Priest will end up squaring off against each other at WrestleMania 38 or not.
