Xavier Woods’ In-Ring Return Was Not Spelled Out Internally Within WWE

New Day member Xavier Woods has had a tremendous career in WWE so far. Woods has won tag team gold on numerous occasions and remains mainstay of any brand he is on. Interesting notes regarding Woods’ recent appearance were revealed as well.

Xavier Woods made his return to Friday Night Smackdown this week after he was out of action earlier this year. Woods came out to help Kofi Kingston against Sheamus and his cronies.

Woods defeated Ridge Holland in seconds, much to the delight of fans. According to Fightful, Xavier Woods was listed internally as accompanying Kofi Kingston. Kingston was also slated internally to face Ridge Holland. It appears that they didn’t want his in-ring return getting out there.
