Xavier Woods is a member of The New Day and has had a tremendous career in WWE so far, having won tag team gold on numerous occasions and remains a mainstay of any brand he is on.

Fans who follow the YouTube channel UpUpDownDown are already aware of just how talented Xavier Woods is in a lot of fields. His work as one of the hosts for the G4 video game channel has also proven successful for him.

As talented as he is, even Xavier Woods’ pro wrestling career will end eventually. While speaking to Insight with Chris Van Vliet, the multi-time tag team champion talked about his career in WWE and what he will do after that.

Xavier Woods revealed that once he hangs up his boots for good, he intends on transitioning into G4 full-time. However, he is also interested in pursuing a musical career and become a studio bassist.

“G4 is the job that I’m going to transition to once I am done being a bump boy. But also I am learning bass guitar, I have aspirations to be a studio bassist. Hopefully in the next 5 to 7 years. It’s music, so there are components that I already understand with playing trombone. That part is easy, I’ve got the music theory. Translating it to bass has been fun. All of your favorite songs are driven by a bassline. It feels good to play and to spread positive energy.”

Xavier Woods is a man of many talents and he will succeed in any field Woods decides to focus on. However, it will still be a very long time until Xavier Woods retires from the pro wrestling world, so fans can expect to be entertained by him for years to come.
