Paul Wight is widely considered to be one of the greatest big men to ever step foot inside the squared circle. The former Big Show is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling under his real name.

Wight works as an in-ring performer as well as a commentator for the promotion’s YouTube series, AEW Dark: Elevation. He hopes to make his in-ring return during next week’s AEW Dynamite.

Next week’s Dynamite will emanate from Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, SC. AEW also plans to tape content for both Elevation and Rampage inside the same arena. Being a Columbia native, Wight wants to wrestle on the March 30th episode of Dynamite. While speaking to Rob Brown Show, Wight made this desire very clear.

“I’m really hoping that a lot of fans will come out and experience AEW and see the difference. Myself, I’m talking to Tony Khan, I can’t exactly go book myself, but I’m trying real hard to get a match going so I can at least wrestle in my hometown in Columbia. I’m looking forward to competing that night. If not, I’ll definitely be there doing Elevation and doing commentary.”
