WWE Hall Of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin‘s contributions to the world of pro wrestling can never be understated. Steve Austin’s name value is on an entirely different level compared to many stars in the industry even now. WWE also got criticized for Steve Austin’s upcoming segment at WrestleMania 38.

It was previously reported that WWE was discussing WrestleMania 38 angle for Steve Austin. Ringside News exclusively reported that a match was never really in the cards, but a KO Show segment is what will happen now.

Steve Austin eventually answered Kevin Owens’ challenge and the segment was then made official. It was then rumored that the Steve Austin and Kevin Owens segment is set to main event WrestleMania 38 Night 1 as well.

While speaking on the Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Bully Ray criticized WWE for having Steve Austin headline WrestleMania 38. This is because it is a disrespect for the current talent, who worked hard all year round.

“If you have to announce it as a match, you have to announce it obviously as his last time ever. I don’t agree with it being the main event of Night 1. You seriously cannot put that match on last, in my eyes. That is a direct kick in the a** to the talent that is there now.

Yes, it’s an attraction, yes, it’s Steve Austin, but I think even Steve Austin would tell you, ‘No, I should not go on last.’ The women should go on last or any other main event… you know what, forget about man or woman. Whatever main event that’s been built, that has earned the right to go on last. But not Steve and Kevin. Steve and Kevin belong in the middle of the show. It’s going to be very hard to follow Steve and Kevin.”

Steve Austin is also said to be in incredible shape ahead of his segment with Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38. We will have to wait and see how the segment will be received by fans.
