WWE launched their “Next In Line” program last year. The idea is to use new NCAA rules that allow college athletes to be paid for the use of their name, image, and likeness to recruit potential future WWE superstars. The company is focusing on bringing in young, fit prospects with legitimate athletic backgrounds to mold into future WrestleMania headliners.

The first class of recruits was announced last December. It included athletes from various sports. Some of them have social media followings that dwarf even the most popular WWE wrestlers.

Today, WWE announced a new partnership that the company hopes will help bolster these recruiting efforts. INFLCR offers a marketplace for collegiate student-athletes to shop around for NIL deals. Many major universities already partner with INFCLR as a one-stop-shop for all things NIL. Triple H touted the new opportunities in a story on WWE’s website.

“We are excited about the opportunities that this partnership with INFLCR will create as we continue to expand our Next In Line program and identify student-athletes with an interest in becoming WWE Superstars. The Next In Line program is a unique opportunity that creates a clear pathway into WWE and partnering with INFLCR will help to bolster our efforts and resources in the NIL space.”

Fans can think of INFLCR as a job board of sorts. Schools partner with the company to create a local marketplace of branding and NIL opportunities. Players can then directly connect with the companies offering them to make the entire process more streamlined. Players will be able to find WWE as opposed to the way it’s been done thus far.

WWE’s NIL program is still in its infancy. Time will tell how many great pro wrestlers come out of the program. At any rate, it is an excellent opportunity for any student-athlete with even a passing interest in becoming a WWE superstar.
