Dominik Mysterio Doubts He Will Ever Face His Father Rey Mysterio In WWE

Rey Mysterio’s son Dominik worked hard to become one of the highlights of the main roster. Dominik Mysterio debuted back in 2019, helping Rey Mysterio out during his feud with Brock Lesnar. Dominik’s most extensive feud was certainly with Seth Rollins as well, but a question will always remain about the possibility of a father/son feud.

Fans have been wondering for a long time whether Dominik will ever feud with his father in WWE. While speaking on Die Woche with Sebastian Hackl, Dominik Mysterio talked about possibly facing his father. Dominik made it clear he doubts that will ever happen.

“Before I started wrestling and like, even my first match I would say, ‘Yeah, you know, why not wrestle against my dad?’ But, after everything we have been through now and seeing our relationship, how it has grown and matured and just, you know, we — it’s just different now. We are on the road together, I drive for hours after the shows so it’s like that bond that we have has only gotten stronger and I just don’t see that ever happening. I see him riding off into the sunset like a happy dude.”

Rey and Dominik Mysterio are set to square off against The Miz and Logan Paul in a tag team match at WrestleMania 38. We will have to see which team will come out on top at the event.
