Ever since CM Punk made his debut a few months ago at AEW Rampage: The First Dance, he has certainly helped elevate talents, which was his main goal in the first place. It seems Punk also wants to go after the AEW World Championship.

CM Punk is currently one of the highlights and regular features on AEW television. His latest feud has certainly been his best so far, as he has helped flesh out MJF’s character even more now.

The Second City Saint also faced off against MJF in a Dog Collar match. In the end, CM Punk managed to defeat MJF with some help from Wardlow, who shockingly turned on The Salt Of The Earth.

While speaking during the post-AEW Revolution media scrum, CM Punk talked about his future in AEW, as he admitted that he wants to go after Adam Page for the AEW World Championship.

“I mean, I think so. I mean, there’s people I want to wrestle here, just for rasslin’ sake. But after a while, I don’t know how much time I have, I don’t know how many matches I have left. So if I am not working my way towards a title shot, if I am not trying to be where Hangman is, I don’t know what I am doing. So, I do think that is something that might happen.

Keep your eyes on it, I don’t know. There’s a ranking system here, I think I am doing pretty good, and we will see. I like Hangman though, and it’s a lot easier to wrestle someone when you hate them. I like that cowboy.”

We will have to wait and see whether CM Punk will end up challenging for ADam Page’s AEW World Championship somewhere down the line or not.
