Thunder Rosa has been considered as one of the best in-ring female pro wrestlers in a very long time. She truly made a name for herself in a Lights Out match against Britt Baker earlier last year. It seems she is currently injured ahead of her huge match at AEW Revolution.
Thunder Rosa’s time in the NWA certainly helped her hone her craft as a professional wrestler as well. Rosa’s feud with Britt Baker remains one of the longstanding feuds in AEW’s women’s division and fans are always engaged whenever the two cross paths.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Thunder Rosa suffered an injury during her match on AEW Dynamite.
Rosa was injured legit on the 3/2 Dynamite show in a tag match but she is doing the match Sunday.
It is not known what kind of injury she suffered or how severe it is. Prior to the match, Rosa’s left leg was taped, so one can assume she suffered a hamstring or thigh injury.
It was also said that Thunder Rosa will still compete at AEW Revolution against Britt Baker for the AEW Women’s World Championship. It remains to be seen whether plans for the match will end up changing due to Rosa’s injury.
