The Briscoes Demand Match With FTR After ROH Purchase

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler established themselves as one of the top tag teams in pro wrestling. They already proved their worth in AEW by winning the AEW Tag Team Titles once. The two also don’t care what their critics have to say about their matches.

FTR are true fans of the old school way of professional wrestling and was inspired by various legends, with Bret Hart being their greatest inspiration. CM Punk would certainly approve of this.

On the other hand, The Briscoes are certainly one of the most established and decorated tag teams in all of professional wrestling. They have competed all over the world in various promotions. The Briscoes and FTR also had a confrontation last year at ROH Final Battle, which led many to believe they will feud in the future.

AEW President Tony Khan shocked the world as he announced that he has purchased the entirety of Ring Of Honor on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. It was said he paid a lot of money for ROH as well.

Following the announcement, The Briscoes took to Twitter and tagged Tony Khan, asking him for a match against FTR as it has been teased for far too long.

Good shit @TonyKhan Now when do we get to wrestle FTR?

FTR had previously made it clear in the past they would love to work with the Briscoes as well. It remains to be seen when the two teams will duke it out inside the squared circle soon or not.
