NWA is one of the oldest active wrestling promotions in the world. It has a rich legacy defined by the likes of Harley Race, Dusty Rhodes and Ric Flair. NWA is looking to revive the tradition of holding the Crockett Cup.

The historic event will take place over the course of two days, March 19 and 20, at The Fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee. The promotion has already announced the NWA World Heavyweight title bout for the event.

NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Matt Cardona will defend his title against former champion Nick Aldis on the second night of the Crockett Cup. Jeff Jarrett will be serving as the special guest referee in the match.

Jarrett is no stranger to NWA and was their top champion on multiple occasions. The 54-year-old will be pulling off double duty at the event. Jarrett will serve as the ambassador as well as the special guest referee.

Will Jarett call the title match right down the middle, or will Cardona pull an upset against Aldis, a man that has become synonymous with the revamped version of the NWA?
