Samoa Joe Isn’t Ruling Out Going To AEW

Samoa Joe’s accomplishments in the world of professional wrestling speak for themselves. He has competed in numerous companies such as ROH, TNA and more as he honed his craft over the years. It seems Joe doesn’t rule out going to AEW either.

Samoa Joe had a great time in NXT during his two outings on the black and gold brand and the WWE main roster. Unfortunately, he was fired on two separate occasions which certainly baffled fans and pro wrestlers alike.

Since his latest WWE release, fans have been wondering where Samoa Joe will go next. While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Samoa Joe talked about possibly making his way to AEW. Joe stated that he is open to going anywhere, but has yet to have discussions with AEW.

“I’m open to whatever opportunity. At this point, I’m blessed enough that I get to make decisions and get to work on things outside of wrestling, which is a rarity when you’re this far in and committed to the business. The discussions haven’t happened yet. I’ve got my team working on stuff and when they eventually connect, we’ll see if something gets worked out.”

Jim Cornette previously stated that he believes Samoa Joe will be huge asset to AEW, so it remains to be seen if he will make his way to Tony Khan’s company or not.
