Sami Zayn Celebrates Huge Landmark In His Pro Wrestling Career

It’s been 20 years since Sami Zayn wrestled his first match. The newly-crowned WWE Intercontinental Champion took to Twitter to share his thoughts regarding his journey so far in the industry.

Zayn said he had his first match on the first of March exactly twenty years ago. He added that he had been reminiscing all day about his 20 years in the business and welcomed fans and peers to share their two cents.

“At this exact time 20 years ago, I was having my first wrestling match. I’ve been reminiscing all day. I realize there must be so much I’ve forgotten. So if you have any odd memories involving me/my career, be it strange interactions or obscure matches, drop them in the replies.”

Zayn shared the Twitter post on his Instagram handle. Of course, the ever-ready Johnny Knoxville couldn’t miss on the chance to troll Zayn. The two have been feuding for quite some time. The Jackass star said that though Zayn had been in the business for 20 years, he couldn’t wrestle for sh*t.

Whether their feud will culminate at WrestleMania remains to be seen. WWE have been trying hard to sell tickets for the biggest show of the year and have already brought in Logan Paul for WrestleMania tag team match.
