AEW has partnered with Yuke’s to develop the promotion’s first-ever video game. Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega is personally seeing to the video game’s development.

According to Sean Sapp of Fightful, the company will be recording content for the video game at the YouTube-exclusive AEW Dark: Elevation with the audience. Ross also noted that they recorded some voiceovers for the game.

Omega previously admitted that it will be hard for their video game to compete with WWE 2K22 and said that the company will never be able to compete with the production value of WWE games.

“We’ll never be able to compete with the production values of WWE’s game. 2K22 is absolutely gorgeous, I’m excited to see all their bells and whistles when it finally releases.”
