Bryan Danielson Feared The Worst Case Scenario For Cody Rhodes & Brandi Rhodes

Cody Rhodes was one of the mainstays of AEW television and an integral part of the company behind the scenes as well. It is no exaggeration to say he helped build AEW into what it is right now since its inception in 2019. It seems Danielson feared the worst when it came to Cody and Brandi Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes and his wife Brandi parted ways with AEW earlier this month and even now, fans and pro wrestlers alike continue to discuss their exit and where they will end up next.

While speaking to Metro, Bryan Danielson revealed that he got to know about Cody and Brandi Rhodes’ departure from his wife Brie Bella. However, he initially feared the worst for the Rhodes.

“You have to understand my relationship to this story breaking is a little bit different because I’m not on the internet very much. So I woke up, had no idea, I texted Tony Khan something about some idea I had or whatever.

Completely oblivious. I’m driving to the airport and my wife [Brie Bella] texts me, and I usually don’t check it but it comes up on the thing and it said, ‘Did you hear about Cody and Brandi?’

And the first thing that went through my head is, ‘Oh no, did something happen? Did they get in a crash? Did something bad happen to their daughter?’ I’m thinking worst-case scenario.”

Bryan Danielson also recently claimed that Cody Rhodes taught him to be liar. We will have to wait and see if Rhodes will end up working in WWE again after almost 6 years or not.
