Brian Cage’s Future With AEW Revealed

There are a lot of rumors going around the pro wrestling world today, and Brian Cage’s name has come up few times. Many thought that he is on his way out of AEW, but that is not the case.

Melissa Santos, Brian Cage’s wife, went on social media and she did a lot of venting about her husband’s placement in the company. After all, Tony Khan hired The Machine after he completed a run on top of Impact Wrestling.

According to Fightful Select Brian Cage’s option stick around AEW was picked up. It seems that any issues he has are not enough to make him depart from Tony Khan’s company.

Word made it around backstage at Wednesday’s All Elite Wrestling Dynamite show that Brian Cage had told those close to him that AEW picked up his option year on his contract. Cage was said to have been surprised by this, as he and virtually everyone on the All Elite Wrestling roster thought his deal would simply expire.

Cage still works indie shows like Revolver, Warrior Wrestling, and more. He also hasn’t appeared on AEW television since October, and that was an episode of Rampage. We’ll have to see what’s next for Brian Cage, but he’s going to remain All Elite for a little while longer.
