WWE Dropped Several Hints About Cody Rhodes On RAW

Cody Rhodes was one of the mainstays of AEW television and an integral part of the company behind the scenes as well. It is not a stretch to say he helped build AEW into what it is right now over the past couple of years. It seems WWE dropped quite a few hints about Cody Rhodes recently.

As reported earlier, Cody Rhodes and his wife Brandi are parting ways with the company after working there for over three years, sending shockwaves across the professional wrestling world.

Since his departure, many fans have been wondering whether Rhodes will make his way to WWE as he has already been in contact with the company. During this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Cody Rhodes was referenced four or five times on the show.

This included The Miz teasing a “dashing” tag partner, Edge suggesting his WrestleMania opponent would be “undeniable”, and the official Twitter account specifically mentioning “smoke and mirrors.”

AEW President Tony Khan also believes Cody Rhodes has something else in the works after his AEW departure. We will have to wait and see if Rhodes truly will end up in WWE or not.
