Cody Rhodes left wrestling world in the doldrums and confusion by partying ways with All Elite Wrestling. Not only that, but officials at TNT are also not sure what to do with unused footage they already shot for Rhodes To The Top’s second season.

Cody and wife Brandi Rhodes were the faces of the reality TV show. His exit from AEW, and by extension TNT (the home of the promotion), has left the network in a conflicting situation.

In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that TNT had begun filming season two of Rhodes To The Top but are now exploring other options since Cody is no longer part of the network.

“However, they had already started filming season two and that’s another aspect of this deal. The story is that TNT is exploring options of what to do with footage already filmed for season two and everything is still up in the air and decisions are likely to be made in the coming weeks.”

Cody hasn’t commented on his future endeavors as of yet but there’s a strong speculation that AEW’s founding father is coming back to Vince McMahon’s WWE. We’ll have to wait to see what happens next.
