Kairi Sane Still Has A Good Relationship With WWE

Kairi Sane was one of the best female pro wrestlers WWE had at their disposal at one point in time. She had a solid run in NXT where she ended up winning the NXT Women’s Championship. Her main roster run saw her teaming up with Asuka, as they were known as the Kabuki Warriors and saw moderate success.

She left the company’s weekly television programs and moved back to Japan. She also earned her degree while in Japan. Many believed her contract with WWE expired and that was the case as her contract expired this month.

While speaking with Proresu Today in Japan, Kairi Sane talked about her relationship with WWE. Sane revealed that she still maintains a good relationship with her former company.

“I’m just grateful that the relationship is so good, or that it’s been much better. Even after returning to Japan, I think it was unusual for me to prepare a special position.”

Kairi Sane was discussed for a return during this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match, but that did not end up happening in the end. It remains to be seen whether Kairi Sane will ever make her return to WWE or not.
