Eddie Kingston made his AEW debut back in July of 2020, where he competed against Cody Rhodes for the TNT Championship during his open challenge. While he was unsuccessful in the match, Kingston impressed many and signed with the company. It seems Kingston will be returning to AEW television very soon.

Kingston quickly cemented himself as one of the best talkers in AEW as his promos are known to be from the heart and very natural. He is also very passionate when it comes to the pro wrestling world.

Eddie Kingston had been absent from AEW television for the past few weeks after he suffered a fractured orbital bone. According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kingston is expected to return next week.

It was not revealed whether Eddie Kingston is cleared for an in-ring return as well. Kingston’s most recent match was against Joey Janela during the January 8 AEW Dark taping. We will have to wait and see what the company will have planned for Kingston once he is back.
