AQA made her AEW debut in a TBS Championship match with Jade Cargill on this week’s episode of Dynamite. The reception from fans was a mixed bag. AQA impressed viewers with a world-class shooting star press.

The rest of the match was pretty lackluster. Referee Bryce Remsberg and Cargill became visibly frustrated as it seemed like the timing of everything was off. Remsberg could be audibly heard yelling out instructions as the match went on.

One poor performance does not make a whole career. Tony Khan is happy with what he’s seen from the former NXT star. Today, he announced via Twitter that AQA is All Elite.

“She’s a shooting star, and now @_AQA10 is All Elite!”

AQA wrestled in NXT as Zayda Ramier. Before that, she trained with Booker T and worked for his Reality of Wrestling promotion. AWA even appeared at an interpromotional event between ROW and Impact in 2019 where she competed in a four-way match that also involved Hyan, Su Yung, and Tessa Blanchard.

The Alabama native is hoping to make a better impression with her next AEW match. Things sometimes go wrong in wrestling and nerves can get the best of anyone. AQA clearly has a ton of athletic ability. AEW fans are looking forward to seeing what she can bring to the table.
