Goldberg Set For SmackDown This Week

Bill Goldberg is set to take on Roman Reigns for his Universal Championship at the forthcoming Elimination Chamber premium live event. This year’s Elimination Chamber will eliminate from the Jeddah Superdome in Saudi Arabia.

The Hall of Famer returned to WWE programming last week to challenge Reigns for the title. The February 4th episode of SmackDown aired from Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.

Goldberg will also be appearing this week on SmackDown to continue his feud with Reigns en route to Elimination Chamber. WWE have added the former Universal Champion to the programming.

WWE will also tape the go-home episode of SmackDown this Friday (February 11) because the talent advertised for the chamber event will be flying to Saudi Arabia over the course of next week.

Goldberg’s current WWE run is expected to be short as the 55-year-old isn’t advertised for post-chamber appearances. His last match took place last year at the Crown Jewel PPV event in Saudi Arabia.
