There is no doubt that WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg is considered a legend by many fans. The former WWE Universal Champion might not have been a fan of pro wrestling at first but eventually came to appreciate it as an art form. It seems Goldberg made an interesting claim as well.
After a hiatus since WWE Crown Jewel last year, Golberg made his return to WWE television and confronted Roman Reigns on last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
Goldberg immediately confronted Roman Reigns and made it clear he wanted a shot at Reigns’ WWE Universal Championship. While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Goldberg claimed that he saw fear in Roman Reigns’ eye.
“All I really had to do was remember back in the day when I lined up against the offensive guard for Georgia Tech and looked into his eyes and wanted to take his soul at the first snap. You know, a couple of years ago, he got away. I have no idea how he got away from me. But anytime I got the opportnity to go up against a man of Roman Reigns’ stature, a champion like him, a man who represents the brand perfectly. For me, that is an honor and a privilege… I do believe when I look Roman straight into the eye, he feels a little bit of that fear for sure.”
Fans were also outraged after Goldberg came back. We will have to wait and see how his match against Roman Reigns will go down on February 19th in Saudi Arabia at the WWE Elimination Chamber event.
