Keith Lee was absent from WWE television for quite a few months. Due to this many fans started to worry about Keith Lee’s status in the company. Lee eventually returned and he previously said that he Vince McMahon’s approach to his character.

Unfortunately, Keith Lee was among several WWE Superstars released from their contracts last year. Immediately after his release, Keith Lee made it clear that the Bearcat gimmick was not his idea at all.

On November 4th last year, WWE released 10 stars including Karrion Kross, Keith Lee, Mia Yim, Ember Moon, Davey Boy Smith Jr. (Harry Smith), Oney Lorcan, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Eva Marie and Nia Jax.

All of the above-mentioned names are now officially free agents now that their 90-day non-compete clause is over. They are now free to go to any pro wrestling company that they desire.

Karrion Kross already gave fans a hint at his pro wrestling future. Keith Lee also filed to trademark his Limitless nickname. We will have to wait and see what the future holds for all the released WWE Superstars now that they are free.

The fact that this took place on a Wednesday and Tony Khan has a proclivity of signing released WWE talent like he’s a rich kid collecting Pokemon cards is not lost on us either.
