Jade Cargill Loves All The Goldberg Comparisons She Is Receiving

Jade Cargill has been booked as an unstoppable force in AEW as she has run roughshod over the women’s division. Her imposing stature and physique have certainly helped her in the company. It seems she commented on recent comparisons as well.

Cargill became the first-ever AEW TBS Champion as she defeated fan-favorite Ruby Soho in the finals of the TBS Women’s Eliminator Tournament. Many fans were not pleased with this decision whatsoever.

Tony Khan previously compared Jade Cargill’s dominant run to Goldberg’s WCW run as well. Even Booker T previously stated that Jade Cargill being compared to Goldberg isn’t far-fetched.

While speaking to  Tim Walters, Jade Cargill addressed being comped to WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg. Cargill stated that it is amazing to be compared to someone like Goldberg.

“It’s amazing. It feels great. Being that I have no type of wrestling background prior to my first match Mar. 3. It’s breathtaking. It feels amazing for me to be compared to somebody with such a stature, and I’m blessed. Our owner Tony Khan put me in a remarkable position, and I’m grateful. I work hard, but I’m very grateful.”

Jade Cargill was always going to win the TBS Women’s Championship as well. She also defended her title a couple of times already. We will have to wait and see how Cargill will be booked as the champion in the coming weeks.
