AJ Styles has been touted as one of the best pro wrestlers by both fans and wrestlers alike. Styles continues to work at high level despite growing older and continues to amaze fans. It seems AJ styles double down on a recent dream match interest as well.
During the 2020 Royal Rumble, Edge made his shocking return to WWE after 9 years. He also speared AJ Styles in the match and Styles suffered a shoulder injury as a result.
The Phenomenal One recently stated that a match between himself and Edge is very close to happening. While speaking with Steven Muehlhausen of DAZN, AJ Styles stated that he feels Edge is one of the last dream matches he has left.
“I want Edge. I feel like it’s one of the last dream matches I have left. And the fact that it wasn’t possible a couple of years ago due to him not being cleared is something I really want. The fact he came back now makes that match a definite possibility, and I’d like to have it at WrestleMania.”
Even Booker T believed that AJ Styles vs Edge would be a showcase match. It remains to be seen whether the two will eventually duke it out inside the squared circle or not.
