The Funkadactyls were the fun-loving, dancing cheerleaders for Brodus Clay during his run in WWE. Cameron and Naomi went on to become original stars of the hit reality series Total Divas. They were presented as two fun-loving folks who loved to dance.

Ariane Andrew, professionally known in WWE as Cameron, got her start after competing on the Tough Enough reality series in 2011. Ariane was the first person eliminated from the show, but wound up earning a contract with WWE. For two years, she joined with Naomi to entertain the WWE Universe as The Funkadactyls.

At this weekend’s Royal Rumble, Cameron made her comeback to compete in the women’s version of the titular match. Sonya Deville immediately took Cameron’s friendship with Naomi out on the returning superstar. Naomi then saved the day to eliminate Sonya.

The two shared a special moment backstage. Naomi shared a photo with Cameron on her Instagram page. Funkadactyls are forever, she noted.

“And we still got each other’s back #funkadactyls 4 life  @arianeandrew”

Cameron and Naomi seem to have enjoyed their reunion. We’ll see if WWE ever considers bringing Ariane back for another run. For now, it was a great one-night-only treat for WWE fans. The ladies seemed to enjoy it, too!
