James was stopped midway her entrance by former Divas Champion Michelle McCool, who said she had a bone to pick with the former Women’s Champion. Her intentions, however backfired as James eliminated McCool shortly after entering the ring.

James joined former Women’s Champions Ivory (who brought back her Right to Censor gimmick for the event) and Lita (who entered at number 26). James was eliminated by Lita after the latter hit her with a DDT.

WWE had previously announced that the reigning Knockouts Champion would be part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match. The announcement created a lot of buzz on the internet as the company rarely opens its doors to outside talent.
