Tonight’s SmackDown is set to feature the team of Big E and Kofi Kingston taking on Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss in a tag team match as well as the return of Sonya Deville to the ring to take on Naomi.

It should be interesting to see how things play out on tonight’s show.

SmackDown

SmackDown begins with SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair coming down to the ring. Charlotte says the Kansas City fans aren’t the only ones who will be disappointed Sunday, and that her 29 other competitors in the Royal Rumble match will be. Charlotte says she didn’t have to enter the Royal Rumble match, she could’ve cruised all the way to WrestleMania, but that’s not the type of champion that she is.

Charlotte is interrupted by Shayna Baszler coming down to the ring. Baszler says that she will not hesitate to snap Charlotte like a twig Saturday night, and that after she eliminates Charlotte, she will not hesitate to challenge Charlotte at WrestleMania. Out comes Aliyah to interrupt and talk about how happy she is to just be there, to which Charlotte tells her she has zero chance. Then Natalya comes out to the ring to confront Aliyah and claim she will win the Royal Rumble, Then Shotzi also comes out to the ring and says she will seize the spotlight from all of the women in the ring. Chalotte says that nobody there belongs in the ring with her. Making her return is Sasha Banks who walks out to the ring.

Sasha stands right across from Charlotte and slaps Charlotte across the face. Sasha exits the ring as the remaining wrestlers in the ring get into a brawl as Sasha watches from the apron. Eventually Charlotte ends up the last wrestler in the ring, Sasha then returns to the ring and throws Charlotte over the top rope to stand alone in the ring.

Sheamus & Ridge Holland vs Cesaro & Ricochet

The match begins with Sheamus and Cesaro in a lock up. The two exchange holds before Sheamus runs out of the ring. Back in the ring Sheamus hits a shoulder tackle and Cesaro counters a hip toss with a lariat. Cesaro tags Ricochet in and Sheamus tags Holland in. Ricochet hits a kick to knock Holland out of the ring and Richochet hits a dive over the top rope to Holland.

Back live with Sheamus hitting an Irish curse to Ricochet. Holland tags in and slams Ricochet into the corner. Holland hits an elbow drop and Ricochet is shown bleeding from his mouth. Ricochet hits a springboard moonsault and tags in Cesaro as Sheamus is also tagged in. Cesaro hits a running uppercut and follows with a corkscrew uppercut off the middle rope. On the outside Cesaro hits a running uppercut to the barricade. Holland makes the blind tag and uses his protective mask as a weapon to take out Cesaro and get the three count.

Winners: Sheamus & Ridge Holland

Naomi vs Sonya Deville

The match begin with Deville immediately running to the corner. Deville again runs to the corner to force the ref to separate Naomi from Deville. Deville lands a kick to the mid section and takes down Naomi and hits a series of stomps in the corner. Deville locks in a chin lock and Naomi powers out of the hold. Deville lands a kick to the chest and covers for two. Naomi hits a drop kick an goes for a baseball slide but Deville catches and hits an inverted ddt from the apron to the outside floor.

The match continues live with Deville hitting a spinebuster in the corner. Naomi hits a stunner after a springboard off the corner and Naomi follows with a flying cross body and Naomi covers for two. Naomi hits a leg drop and again covers for two. Deville hits a slam from a vertical suplex position and Naomi kicks out at two. Deville takes advantage of a ref distraction and pokes Naomi in the eye and Deville gets a roll up holding the tights but Naomi manages to kick out at two. Naomi hits the rear view and then the moonsault and Naomi covers for three.

Winner: Naomi

After the match, Naomi goes on to talk about her shot in the Royal Rumble match, and Deville gets on the mic to say she has a surprise entrant for the Royal Rumble match, and Deville officially announcer herself as a competitor in the Royal Rumble match.

SmackDown returns live with Sami Zayn in the ring to host the In-Zayn show with Jinder Mahal and Shanky in the ring with him. Zayn calims that the show is now a live podcast instead of a stunt show. Zayn says this is what the show should have been from the start and that he never wants to hear the name Johnny Knoxville again. Zayn asks Mahal about his confidence for his match tonight. Mahal says he is confident he can beat Shinsuke Nakamura again.

Mahal says that Shanky is actually a big fan of Johnny Knoxville and Jackass is huge in India to which Zayn tries to argue with Mahal before Rick Boogs interrupt by playing his guitar at the top of the stage and introducing Shinsuke Nakamura.

Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs vs Jinder Mahal & Shanky

SmackDown returns with this match already in progress. Boogs throws Mahal across the ring and Shanky is tagged in. Boogs backs Shanky into the corner and Shanky hits a big boot. Boogs hits a delayed vertical suplex to Shanky and Sami Zayn runs up to pull Nakamura off the apron to prevent the taf. Mahal is tagged in and Boogs takes multiple punches from Mahal and Mahal runs to tag Shanky back in. Boogs hits a shoulder tackle. Boogs hits the power slam and covers for three.

Winners: Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs

Big E & Kofi Kingston vs Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss

The match begins with Moss hitting Big E with a shoulder tackle. Big E hits a high elbow to drop Moss and Kingston is tagged in. Corbin tags in and Corbin hits a running lariat to Kingston in the corner. Kingston hits a drop kick and Moss tags in and Kingston hits Moss with a drop kick and Kingston dives off the top rope but is caught by Moss and Corbin who slam him face first into the ring post.

*Commercial break*

The match continues with Moss stomping Kingston in the corner. Corbin tags in and Kingston slides through Corbin’s legs to tag Big E in. Big E hits a belly to belly and hits a running splash. Kingston is tagged in and Corbin hits a chokeslam backbreaker and tags Moss in. Corbin hits the deep six and Moss makes the cover for two. Big E tags in and hits the big ending and covers Moss for three.

Winners: Big E & Kofi Kingston

SmackDown returns for a one on one confrontation between Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Reigns gets on the mic to tell the Kansas City crowd to acknowledge him. Rollins says the match tomorrow is how it should be, one on one. Rollins says if being pinned by Rollins is an embarrassment, Reigns has brought more shame on his family than anyone else. Rollins alludes to his Money in the Bank cash in at WrestleMania 31 where he pinned Reigns, his return in 2016 where he again pinned Reigns and then when he changed the game forever when he took a steel chair to Reigns’ back. Rollins says him destroying the shield turned Reigns into a star and he owes that all to Rollins. Rollins says that Reigns has done it all except for beating Rollins when it matters most. Rollins says taking the Universal Championship won’t be personal and that Rollins will always loves Reigns as a brother. Reigns says that he tried to forgive Rollins but he never will for what he did, Reigns says he hates Rollins and Rollins responds by laughing maniacally. Reigns drops the belt and shoves Rollins and Rollins continues to laugh as Reigns goes to leave the ring. Reigns tries to hit a superman punch from behind but Rollins is able to duck and leave the ring as SmackDown goes off the air.
