WWE shifted their focus from providing a fully featured, in-house content streaming service to licensing that content to other companies. In the United States, that deal is with Peacock. WWE also recently inked a deal to place network content with Disney+ Hotstar in Indonesia.

A move away from being an over-the-top content provider to simply selling their shows to the highest bidder has taken a lot of overhead costs and pressure out of the equation. WWE President Nick Khan is hoping to see huge revenues from streaming deals similar to the Peacock contract in the future.

Amanda Tustian joined WWE twelve years ago as an administrative assistant. Tustian climbed the ranks and became an executive assistant. In 2015, Amanda was made Manager of WWE Network Operations. That job evolved into director of over-the-top content operations. PW Insider has reported that Tustian is now done with the company. Her job duties were listed on her Instagram page.

No specific reason was given for the departure. There have been plenty of people leaving the WWE front office lately. Many of those have been fired, but others have willingly walked away. We’ll see whether that’s it for Amanda Tustian in the wrestling industry.
