Paul Heyman is one of the most well-known and established names in the pro wrestling world. He is touted as one of the greatest minds to have ever been seen in the business. It seems Heyman made a huge claim recently.
Heyman is certainly one of the best talkers on the microphone and has helped elevate many Superstars he has worked with over the years and that includes Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and others.
While speaking on The Masked Man Show with Kaz, Paul Heyman stated that he believes WWE Superstars are more popular worldwide than the likes of LeBron James.
“If LeBron James walks down the street in Paris or Rome, he could pretty much not get (bothered), it would be like Justin Bieber walking down the street. It would be like, Oh my God, it’s LeBron James.
The biggest sports stars in America can go elsewhere and not get that much bothered. That doesn’t exist with WWE superstars. They work everywhere, we are everywhere.”
It is likely a lot of fans will agree with what Paul Heyman said as the likes of The Rock and John Cena have a lot of worldwide appeal and popularity right now as well.
