Since his appearance in the 2016 Royal Rumble, AJ Styles has cemented himself as one of the best in-ring workers in all of WWE. He has had great matches with several big names in the company, but perhaps his greatest feud was with John Cena.

AJ Styles’ feud with John Cena truly elevated him to the top of the company and raised his credibility, especially after Styles defeated John Cena at the 2016 WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view.

While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, AJ Styles talked about his feud with John Cena and how important John Cena was for his career in WWE, as Styles feuded with Cena for a long time in 2016 and early 2017. Styles also made it clear he wants one more match with the Leader Of Cenation.

“John and I for some reason always manage to have unbelievable matches together. Was the pressure on? Most definitely. Despite that, I knew that we would be able to pull off something special. And we did. I think a lot of things that people do notrealize is that during this match, we never went out of the ring. We never touched the floor. It was all done in the ring which is a testament to John. Cena is far better than most people give him credit for.

It has been a while. Well, he is kind of busy I think. Do I want one more? Absolutely. I love competing against this guy. His drive, his passion, it’s there. Listen, I don’t want to blow smoke, but God, he’s really good and I enjoy being in the ring with him.”

We will have to wait and see whether AJ Styles and John Cena will have one more match in the future as fans would love to see them duke it out once again inside the squared circle.
