Bron Breakker Could Be Set For WWE Royal Rumble Surprise

Rick Steiner’s son Bron Breakker has been on a roll since debuting in NXT 2.0 back in September last year. His popularity soared every passing week and it is unlikely to stop anytime soon. It seems he might be appearing during the men’s Royal Rumble match.

As seen on the NXT New Year’s Evil event, Bron Breakker challenged Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Championship in the main event of the show. In a true passing of the torch moment, Bron Breakker defeated Tommaso Ciampa for the title.

According to a report from PWInsider, Bron Breakker and GUNTHER are scheduled to be at the Rumble event this coming Saturday. It was not confirmed whether they will compete in the match or not.

“WWE is bringing at least two top NXT talents in for Royal Rumble weekend, PWInsider.com has confirmed. NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Gunther, the former WALTER, are slated to be in St. Louis next weekend for the Rumble event. There’s no confirmation they will be in the Men’s Rumble but they will, at least, be on deck if needed.”

It remains to be seen whether Bron Breakker and GUNTHER will end up competing in the Royal Rumble match or not next week.
