Eddie Kingston is one of the best promos in AEW. His mic skills are second to none. Kingston can hold his own against the likes of CM Punk and Chris Jericho, but it seems that fan won’t be seeing him in the ring for the time being.

PWInsider reported Monday that Kingston is out of in-ring action due to an undisclosed injury. AEW President Tony Khan made the announcement at the AEW Dark tapings over the waiting.

Kingston won’t be able to work the upcoming GCW “The Wrld On GCW” PPV at the Hammerstein Ballroom as word around the corner is that he’ll be out for a few weeks due to his injury.

GCW star AJ Gray has called out Kingston for a potential match at the PPV but that match won’t be taking place this Sunday. Kingston revealed he was open to working the event but would have to get AEW’s approval.

Kingston is currently in feud with former AEW Champion Chris Jericho and his Inner Circle stablemates Santana and Ortiz. Kingston and Jericho almost entered into a brawl following a scuffle on the New Year’s Smash episode of Dynamite.
