NXT 2.0 has become the home of many up-and-coming WWE superstars and potential main roster sensations. One of them is Damon Kemp. The 22-year-old is the elder brother of Gable Steveson, but he didn’t make the best entryway into the NXT landscape.

Kemp had his debut match against Cameron Grimes on the latest episode of the paint splattered brand. Despite putting on a solid performance, Kemp ended up losing the bout to Grimes

Following his loss, Kemp took to Twitter to share his thoughts on his debut match and declared 2022 to be his year in NXT 2.0. It is worth mentioning that Malcolm Bivens watched the Kemp vs. Grimes match from the ringside.

It seems that the Diamond Mine mouthpiece is interested in recruiting Kemp in the stable. There’s no denying that Kemp has huge potential and could be a huge asset to Bivens’ group.

Kemp, who reported to the WWE Performance Center last year, originally made his in-ring debut on the December 24th edition of 205 Live. He lost to fellow WWE star Andre Chase.
