Tommaso Ciampa & Pete Dunne Compete In Main Event Tapings Before WWE RAW

Tommaso Ciampa definitely one of the most established Superstars in all of NXT. He has been involved in many memorable matches and feuds with the likes of Johnny Gargano and others in the brand.

Ciampa has accomplished everything there is to accomplish on the black and gold brand. However, there are still quite a few WWE Superstars he has yet to face, especially on the main roster.

Since losing the NXT championship, Ciampa has been preparing for his main roster callup. He competed in a dark match last week on Friday Night Smackdown already.

Both Tommaso Ciampa and Pete Dunne wrestled matches for Main Event ahead of Monday’s RAW. Ciampa defeated T-Bar while Pete Dunne defeated Akira Tozawa in their respective matches.

This could be a good sign for Tommaso Ciampa and Pete Dunne, because WWE wants to take better look at them. Then again, this did not work out for people like Bronson Reed who received dark matches before main roster tapings and then the company fired him a short time later.

With the Royal Rumble match set to take place on January 29th, we will have to wait and see whether they will debut in the match or not.
