Paige was forced to retire from professional wrestling way before she was ready. The WWE superstar has been teasing a comeback for quite some time. The early announcements for the women’s Royal Rumble match include a lot of throwbacks. Fans have been buzzing that Paige might make her comeback at the WWE premium live event.
Ringside News exclusively reported that there were no plans for Paige to return at the height of the rumors before the pandemic. Paige’s fans continued to think positively. Now she has been trending on Twitter for three straight days.
Paige celebrated the occasion with a tweet of her own. The former Divas Champion also slipped in a little tease for her followers. Paige predicted that she would continue to trend for another 18 days. That would be January 29th, the date of the WWE Royal Rumble.
“3rd day in a row trending? Rumor has it I’ll be trending probably 18 more days”
A series of neck injuries led Paige to announce her retirement on April 9, 2018. Non-wrestling roles came and went over time. Nobody seriously believed she could make a comeback.
Paige is happy to keep hope alive for her fans. They have supported her through a lot over the years. Paige has one of the most devoted fan bases in all of wrestling.
