Karrion Kross has enjoyed a pretty interesting career. The brawler made a name for himself during his time with IMPACT Wrestling and on the independent scene, before signing with WWE in February last year.

In a recent conversation with Chris Van Vliet, Kross talked about what his future might possibly look like. Kross even tried to figure out where fans would like to see him next, and it seems like AEW was a strong contender.

When asked by Vliet about the possibility of him going to AEW, Kross confirmed that the idea had definitely crossed his mind. The wrestler brought up the fan response when he asked the same question on Twitter.

I said, “Hey, where would you like to see me next?” It was an overwhelming amount of people who wanted to see me go to AEW. I had that Peter Griffin moment like “Ahhh.

Kross also admitted that in the moment, the fan response had hi feeling a bit annoyed. He claimed that he did not get why people thought he “would find much more success in AEW vs. WWE.” Kross even questioned whether his fans lacked faith in him, although he quickly changed his mind.

I’d probably still be wrestling. I’m sure I would have been happy and creatively fulfilled. All of my friends work for AEW. I had only a couple of friends work in WWE. I would have been in good company, not that I wasn’t in NXT, the locker room is awesome there. I think I would have loved it.

WWE released Kross from his contract in November last year, and after the termination of his non-compete, he will be a free agent again. Whether he ends up joining AEW after all, only time will tell.
