Johnny Gargano was considered the face of NXT by many fans due to his excellent feuds with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa and Adam Cole. He has had various nicknames such as Johnny Wrestling, Johnny TakeOver and more and they are all for good reason. It seems he’s itching to get back in the ring.
As seen on a previous episode of NXT 2.0, Gargano made it clear that his status in NXT is up in the air. However, many fans realized that Johnny Gargano was done for good. That turned out to be true as he is now officially free agent.
Gargano recently took to Twitter and revealed that working out to wrestling theme songs is slowly bringing back the itch for pro wrestling. He hinted at returning to the squared circle soon enough.
“You know when I start working out to wrestling theme songs.. the itch is slowly starting to come back…”
As reported earlier, Johnny Gargano could also make his AEW debut in Cleaveland on January 26th. Johnny Gargano also recently stated that he will work wherever fans call for him to work. We will have to wait and see what Johnny Gargano will ultimately decide for himself.
