Impact Wrestling made history at Hard To Kill when they presented the first-ever women’s Ultimate X match. There were a couple people backstage who really pulled for that match to go down.

According to a report from PW Insider, Jordynne Grace and Tasha Steelz were two of the loudest advocates for that match going down. They wanted the women to get an opportunity in that popular gimmick match. That being said, it was still a big surprise when that match was actually announced.

Tasha Steelz and Jordynne Grace had pushed Impact Wrestling management to hold the first-ever Ultimate X match for the Knockouts, but weren’t aware the match was going to be announced.

In the end, Tasha Steelz defeated Alisha Edwards, Chelsea Green, Jordynne Grace, Lady Frost, and Rosemary in that match. It was also the first contest on the Hard To Kill card, a fine way to get the crowd going in a big way.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
