Matt Striker and D’Lo Brown have been the voices of Impact Wrestling since Hard To Kill in January of 2021. The duo has been a mark of stability for the promotion. Striker now says he is finished with the company.

Striker tweeted the news earlier today. He quickly deleted the tweet. The news was picked up by Mike Johnson of PW Insider who then confirmed the news with Impact sources.

“I am disappointed that my time with #ImpactonAXSTV is done. I REALLY enjoyed that locker room. Thanks for allowing me to tell your story. Thanks, everyone. Stay safe.”

The tone of Striker’s deleted tweet suggests that leaving was not his idea. Details of the separation are unknown. The commentator sounded upset by the news.

D’Lo Brown will remain in his role as color commentator. Impact will have to find another voice to join him. Impact is gearing up for Saturday’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view. It was the very show where Striker and Brown first worked together.

Heavy turnover was a halmark of the company during the TNA days. Since being purchased by Anthem, Impact Wrestling has been relatively stable. Striker’s replacement will have to come soon with just days before a major event.
