Big E’s journey to the top of WWE has been one full of hurdles and obstacles at every step of the way. After a solid run in NXT, Big E made his way to the main roster but was eventually lost in the shuffle. It seems Bully Ray has an interesting take on Big E.

At the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view, Big E defended his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar. In the end, Brock Lesnar defeated Big E to become the new WWE Champion.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray talked about Big E losing the WWE Champion. Ray admitted he didn’t hate Big E losing the title as he feels Big E has more value chasing the title instead.

“A lot of these babyface champions who are built the right way, you will pay to see retain.

Big E is one of those talents where I feel like you pay and you invest your emotion to see him chase another one of these guys, much like a Kofi Kingston where you feel like he’s been working hard for so long and he deserves better, thus you get behind him because of the chase.

Yeah, there will be some fans who wanna do that but the majority? I’m not quite sure.

There was also proof that Big E was supposed to win the match at the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view. Big E also wasn’t able to qualify for the WWE Title match at the Royal Rumble on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Big E.
