Malakai Black is set to face off against Brian Pillman Jr on Dynamite this week. Flyin’ Brian’s son thought it would be a good idea to let fans see his training process, but Malakai Black has another way of looking at things.
This Wednesday’s Dynamite will air on TBS for the first time, claiming their new television home. The company wants to draw as much attention to the broadcast as possible and that also includes an AEW World Title match with Bryan Danielson vs Adam Page.
The leader of the House of Black tweeted out a response to Pillman’s sparring video. Brian Pillman used the caption, “fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.” Apparently, Malakai Black saw some shame in that video as well.
Yeah always good to show me what you’re working on, definitely not a dumb idea. Also, ducking the heel kick? Genius.
We’ll have to see how things turn out in this match. If Malakai Black’s previous encounters in AEW are any indication of things then fans might be in for a very short match.
