Mixed Tag Team Match Added To WWE Royal Rumble

WWE’s next premium live event, the Royal Rumble, will go down on January 29th. They didn’t end the night on RAW without adding a big mixed tag team match to the show.

The Miz and Maryse were not happy about how things turned out at WWE Day 1. Beth Phoenix’s return to the picture was nothing they expected. She came back to RAW this week as well and a big challenge followed her.

They made it very clear that Phoenix showing up at Day 1 was all her idea. Then Edge issued a mixed-tag team challenge for the Royal Rumble. The It Couple vs the Grit Couple will throw down in St. Louis.

The Miz eventually accepted that challenge, but Maryse wasn’t very happy about it at all. Beth Phoenix then laid her out with a shot to get things started. You can check out the updated Royal Rumble lineup below.
