WWE Day 1 was supposed to feature a huge match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Now it appears that match is not going to happen as planned.

Roman Reigns was pulled off the road as a precautionary measure. They wanted to do everything they could to ensure his match with Brock Lesnar goes down. That angle will have huge WrestleMania implications. As Ringside News exclusively reported if any changes come for Day 1 it will happen on the day of the show.

According to Ariel Helwani, Roman Reigns will not be at the Day 1 pay-per-view now. He was pulled off the show due to WWE’s COVID-19 protocols. Now Brock Lesnar will be added to the WWE Title match.

Reigns is the WWE universal champion. He is vaccinated, sources say. Brock Lesnar, his scheduled opponent for tonight’s card, will now compete for the WWE championship in what has turned into a fatal five way with champ Big E, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley.

This is interesting, because Lesnar will now be going for a different title. Now that WWE Title match is a fatal five-way. It’s a good thing Brock Lesnar is a free agent so he can jump to whichever brand he likes.
